US Storage Centers (USSC) was founded in 1985 by the late Barry Hoeven. The Company has since expanded from one facility in Southern California to 120 facilities in 16 states, and now has over 300 employees. It is a fully integrated operator that develops, acquires and manages its portfolio. Additionally, USSC provides third-party management services for self storage facilities. The Company enjoys being an active part of the community. In 2007, Barry Hoeven founded Kure It Cancer Research, a 501(c)3 non-profit devoted to raising funds for underfunded cancer research. He also co-founded Charity Storage, a 501(c)3 non-profit devoted to raising funds for non-profits through Charity Storage auctions. Since inception, Kure It has raised nearly $7 Million dollars and Charity Storage has raised over $400,000 for local, national and international charities. USSC continues to honor Barry's legacy by generously supporting both charitable programs.
