(January 27, 2026) – Phoenix, AZ. Charity Storage, the official charity of the self storage industry and official charity partner of the Self Storage Association (SSA), has expanded its leadership team with the election of two new board members. Jessie Lamb, VP Self Storage at nodaFi, and Melissa Cameron, CMO of NSA Storage, bring decades of experience in operations, strategy, and marketing to the nonprofit. Their expertise will enhance its mission to help self storage facilities leverage existing operations to raise critical funds through charitable auctions.
Charity Storage provides self storage teams a simple, meaningful way to engage tenants and operate with purpose by enabling facilities to collect and auction donated items from the community. The nonprofit also manages the distribution of proceeds to the operator’s chosen charity, Kure It Cancer Research, and the Self Storage Association Foundation (SSAF) Scholarship Program.
The addition of Jessie Lamb and Melissa Cameron strengthens the board’s expertise and leadership in service of communities across the nation.
Drawn in by her desire to contribute to the community, Jessie Lamb brings deep expertise in self storage operations and technology.
“When I moved from Texas to CA, and took my job at nodaFi, I gave up a lot of my regular community service because of my travel schedule and the relocation,” said Lamb. “I wanted to do something where I could give back as I travel to industry events, and participating with Charity Storage seemed like a great way to do that! I have always admired the mission and respected the contribution that Charity Storage has made. I am happy to get to be of service.”
Her current role as VP Self Storage at NodaFi, along with her previous experience managing a large remote portfolio for Strat Property Management, will help advance Charity Storage’s efforts to support facilities as they integrate charitable giving into their day-to-day operations.
Melissa Cameron also brings a wealth of knowledge with over 25 years of experience in digital marketing and customer experience. As CMO of NSA Storage, she oversees marketing, customer acquisition, and technology functions, and previously served as Senior Director of Digital Marketing at Extra Space Storage. Her expertise will help Charity Storage bolster operator engagement and broaden its impact across the self storage industry.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jessie and Melissa to the board,” said Kristi Adams, Current Board Chair of Charity Storage and Chief Revenue Officer at OpenTech Alliance. “Their leadership and industry perspective will help guide our vision as we continue building programs that are both practical for operators and meaningful for the causes they support.”
With Jessie Lamb and Melissa Cameron on the board, Charity Storage is well-positioned to grow its programs, deepen partnerships with self storage operators, and maximize charitable contributions nationwide.
